Burford wedding albums made from black cherry, maple or walnut provide a unique alternative to traditional wedding albums. Our personalized albums are a wonderful keepsake for the bride and groom, their parents and their attendants.

Laser Engravings from Actual Photographs

Burford Albums offers a unique opportunity to permanently display your actual wedding photograph on your album cover.Our photo engraving software allows us to reproduce an actual photograph on our cherry wood covers. Simply supply us with your special photo either electronically as a 300 dpi .jpg e-mail attachment or via the mail. All photos will be returned with the completed album.

Wedding Invitation Engraving

We also offer the option of having your wedding invitation and/or wedding vows engraved directly onto the inside front or back cover of your album for that added special effect. Simply supply us with an original invitation or send it electronically -- we will return it with the album. Whether for yourself, or as a gift for someone else, this is a truly exceptional and appreciated album.

Album Sizes

Our removable page albums are available in three sizes. The large album (cover size 12.5"L x 13.5"W) accommodates up to 10x10 photos and can hold 12, 15, 20 or 25 pages. The use of double pages and spacers offers further flexibility to your page requirements for this album size. The medium album (cover size   10"L x 11"W) accommodates up to 8x8 photos and can hold up 12, 15 or 20 pages. The small album (cover size 8"L x 8.75"W) accommodates up to 6x6 photos and can hold 12, 15 or 20 pages.

Wedding Album Imagery

As an alternative to photo engraving, we offer additional wedding images. Laser images for our wedding albums include cameo, full silhouette, or the simple elegance of the bride's and groom's names and wedding dates standing alone. We can also work with individual requests for theme-based custom laser designs; for example, a heart outline in the background to celebrate a Valentine's Day wedding; or a delicate leaf outline for a Fall wedding. There is no end to what we can create to make a special, one-of-a-kind personalized memento of your wedding day to be cherished forever.

Professional Album Pages & Mats from Renaissance by Album X Corp.:   

Our removable page albums feature top-loading base pages and interchangeable slip-in mats by Renaissance by Album X Corp. so you can quickly configure your album to offer an infinite variety of openings that precisely fit your needs. Pages are gilded in gold, silver or black (matching metal corner tips available), and are available in taupe (gilded in gold; gold tips available); grey (gilded in silver; silver tips available) and black (gilded in gold, silver or black; matching tips available).  Black/gold pages and mats are stock items; please allow 3-4 weeks for other colors.

Configuring Your Custom Wedding Album

Once you have sorted your photos by size and quantity (e.g. number of 8x10s, 5x7s, 4x5s, etc.), you are ready to determine the number of pages and mats that will make up your album. Let's say, for example, that you have 24 8x10 photographs. You would therefore require 12 pages and 24 mats of your choice, because mats are inserted into both sides of the divided page. The mats can be used either VERTICALLY or HORIZONTALLY; in other words, you can insert the mat into the page to showcase a vertical 8x10, or turn the mat 90 degrees and insert it to accommodate a horizontal photo, because page openings and mats are square.

Assembling your Album

Our removable page albums are shipped with the pages in place, though you may want to remove them for photo/mat insertion. The photographs are inserted into the mats; the mats are then slipped into the top-loading pages. This process is quick and simple, and full instructions are included.
